A great class with a great lecturer or instructor is probably the best way to learn a new topic. Unfortunately, classes are expensive to organize, and as a result expensive to attend.

It is our belief that knowledge shouldn't be the preserve of people that live in the few great metropolises of the world where classes are regularly proposed, nor of people who can afford expensive education – or work for companies that can afford courses for them.

The Internet offers today the way to reach way more people, and to benefit from the effect of scale – spreading the cost of producing quality material by world-renowned authors over a much larger population; the more people take the course, the more affordable the course can be to everyone. If you lack on the web the direct contact with your peers or with the instructor, we have forums associated to each course which allow to come close. You can take courses at your own rhythm, you can rewind videos as much as you want without having the feeling of slowing down a course in which many in attendance are more knowledgeable than yourself.

We are determined to offer classes the price of which is in the order of magnitude of the price of a good meal, not of one night in a five-star hotel as is usually the case with instructor-led classes.
